Save the Planet!  Protect the Planet!  Do something positive for the Planet!

Everything above can be seen as the general aspect of the enviromental awarness movement.  The above phrases are really simple, aren’t they?  Well, its even simpler.  The genreral meaning of the movement or better worded the essence is the idea of spreading informed information of the issues to all people anywhere and trying to build a soceity were there is a sustainable relationship between both ecosystems and humans.  I made it sound to complex, here in a few words, its getting people to not nesscaryaliy care but be informed and make better choices to build a positive relationship between man and everything else.

Everyone knows Al Gore is at the head of the environmental movement in our current times.  Yet he faces harsh comments from others for various “controversies”. 

Well, whether you like him or not.  He is informed on the environmental issues the planet faces now.  Yes he has made major mistakes in informing the public about issues, but he’s only human.  Also, at least he’s trying to make a difference.  So, in my eyes he’s human and is trying to do better things for the planet.  So, he works hard to inform himself on the issue and goes to many meetings to help tame the varyng issues. 

I feel, is a great example of a person who fufills the esscence of the movement.  Which in two words can be seen positive change.  

A reputable resource that has been trying to strive for positive change is the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency).  That isn’t close to being perfect in any way, but what it’s got going for it is the truth that it’s trying to do something.  While a majority of other people do nothing.     Dr. Bill Sanders, Director of EPA’s National Center for Environmental Research is a expert (that faces no controversies so far) that has become respected in his field.  Thus he’s in a high ranking.  He’s advocated not only just cleaning up the polluated areas of the world, but has strongly advocated the idea that people need to be taught prevention.  He believes strongly in the idea of spreading envrionmental awarness to everyone.  Its only fair since we a ll have a impact on the planet, not just certain people.

Recently he has advocated building green and researching ways to build more environmentally friendly and help build towards sustainable living.

This is what people think of when they picture the word environment or words save the planet.

What do you think when you first glance at this picture?

Do you feel there’s a message behind this man holding a bare planet with its revealed roots?

Well, they say a picture is worth a 1000 words and I feel that a picture has different words when different people look at it, the one thing that all those words say is there is always a general message they all speak.

This one tells us about the spreading of the new age environmental movement that is occurring. The man clearly represents the few that have accepted the ideas of the environmental movement, and the plant represents the knowledge or the actual cause of why we are even doing this. Notice that the man faces completely forward towards you and is quite close in the actual picture. Couldn’t this mean he is passing the environmental movement towards you, and with his hands clearly pushing forward and upwards. He is “asking” you to accept this knowldege this “plant” and embrace the idea and help spread the movement to others.

There’s quite a lot said in those 1000 words of this picture. 

 This picture is a ideal example of the new modern “look” the environmental movement is implementing.  People are becoming more aware of the issue.  So the same clique pictures with Earth’s natural beauty, just don’t cut it anymore.  Now its time for change, it time for pictures to be simple yet as prfound as a sunset on a mountaintop. 

As profound as the picture above is.  Its just one of the few modern intakes in spreading environmental awaraness.  There are many other different ideas that are just as simple and tackling as the man passing the bare plant to the viewer.  This is all a piece of the picture concerning the new age movement.  Its got itself a stronger look, less sterotypical, and finally it has just been given a new audience.  Not just educated scientists or activists, it being targeted at a new audience and that very audience is you and everyother being of the human speices.

By now, whether from the news or the media, you should be quite informed to a extent about the problems between mankind and the Planet. Let’s take the infamous global warming issue that has become a plague to many.

There’s countless questions that slide off the main issue of global warming. Now it, shouldn’t be that way. Often people are saying that global warming isn’t real and even if it is real that humankind’s activities aren’t the major cause of the, better termed, climate change that Earth is currently facing. Well that’s not right, to consider the issue of climate change pointless and unimportant. Now in present times there is so much information that advocates for the awareness of climate change and fully supports the fact that it is caused extensively by humans.

An specific example of such a source would be the book “wild earth” that pushes for better management of national forests and stresses the idea that it is these forest’s that are the foundation of ecosystems. It hits the new age idea that what humans do does have a massive impact on the ecosystems surrounding it. It gives a haunting example that what humans simply eat is a major impact on the world. Think about it. At the end of your life you’ve must’ve eaten so much food! Now it’s not telling any of us to be anorexic or create eating-disorders. It simply states the truth, that humans use so much resources to produce things we often discard away. Obviously food is important to us all, but is all the other useless things we buy so important?

Basically what the point is that we need to help the environment. That’s completely what my blog is about. It’s not okay for us to only care about ourselves and be so selfish as a species. We need to come together and see that the devastation we have created needs to end. The human species needs to care for the other species of the planet and the ecosystems that sustain them and most definitely us. If you can just think how huge of a impact your having on Earth (which is your only home) and see your just a single person that is having that impact than compare that to the billions of others like you and you’ll see what humans are doing to the planet. we weren’t thousands of years ago,

we weren’t with the industrialization of society,

and we sure aren’t now. It’s our duty and just the right thing to do to help save the planet.

Well, I’am blogging about the conservation of the natural enviroment.  Or in other words, about saving our only planet Earth.  I’ve become very passionate about the treatment of the environment, and how we should move toward a more positive outlook for the enviroment.  My blog concerns major issues plagueing the world’s lifestyle, such as climate change, rain forest destruction, loss of biodiversity and sustainable living.  This is an improtant to me.  Since, Earth is the only home we’ve currently got.  It’s so important and unique compared to the other planet’s.  It’s shameful that people feel no need to care for this wonder of the universe.  I’am not going to just preach about saving the planet.  Infact, I’am planning to look at both sides of various issues (environmentalists and prohuman living) and find a compromise that meets the needs of both sides and builds a sustainable relationship between the humankind and the brillant Earth that fostered us.  This blog won’t be just all talk and only tangents.  It’s going to actually tackle issues were currently facing and even if a perfect solution isn’t produced.  I’ll have at least tried and done something rather than done nothing.  My opinion is different from the countless others of the world because I’am not just speaking my voice but listening to others and trying to build a bridge between our ideas and find a common ground.  In really simple words, I’am just trying really hard to actually do something good and want to hear different opinions so that we can work together and find a permanent solution to the current issues we face.
